Servings: Makes about 3-1/2 Cups

Comments:
Goes with just about anything off the grill. Use with the recipe for Grilled Pork Ribs with Hot and Smoky BBQ Sauce.

Ingredients:
4 - 8 ounce cans tomato sauce
2 cups chopped red onion (about 1 medium)
¾ cup apple cider vinegar
6 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
¼ cup chili powder
8 large garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablesppon liquid hickory smoke (Wright's: best brand)
1 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
½ teaspoon ground cumin

Directions:
Bring all ingredients to boil in heavy large saucepan, whisking occasionally. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer until sauce thickens & flavors blend, whisking often, about 30 minutes.

Season with salt & pepper. (Can be made one week ahead. Cover & chill.)
