Try it, all y'all love it.

"Glazed pecans"? We found them at Albertson's, but really spendy. Marlys would make it up with the usual suspects: butter, brown sugar, enough heat to roast and glaze the pecans. Suit yourself.

Ingredients:
1 head romaine lettuce
1 pint fresh strawberries
½ cup glazed pecans
¼ large red onion
Marie's Poppyseed Dressing to taste

Directions:
Clean lettuce and tear into bite size pieces. Wash, core and cut strawberries into quarters. Slice onion thinly.

Combine in large salad bowl. Add glazed pecans. Toss with poppy seed dressing sufficient to coat.
